Measuring Our Impact
An integral part of being a B Corp business is producing an annual Impact Report.
Each year, it provides us with the chance to take stock and reflect on the progress we’ve made. We can highlight areas where we haven’t quite achieved what we set out to do and refocus our plans for the year ahead.
This year, we wrote our second impact report. For the first report, we were finding our feet, fresh from recent certification.
A lot has happened since then.
We’ve moved offices, taken on four new agencies, and celebrated the business’s 10th birthday.
We have intentionally increased our industry involvement, using our voice and experience to champion sustainability across the trade.
We have rationalised our community work and partnered with the Oxfordshire-based mental health charity, Restore.
There are some big plans for the year ahead, and work is already underway.
We recently put the team through carbon literacy training and we’re starting down the road to calculating our Scope 1-3 emissions and setting a reduction plan with the ultimate goal of achieving net zero.
“I am very proud to share our second impact report, which reflects the hard work everyone at North South Wines has put into making us a more sustainable business. We have worked hard to embed the B Corp values into our business, and this has put us in a good position to make real strides towards achieving our targets over the next 12 months. Making progress is a team effort, not just within NSW, but the wider industry and throughout our supply chain. The incredible support from our suppliers and service partners has been, and will be, vital in the years to come.”

All this and a whole lot more is covered in our latest Impact Report, which you can read here.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and fired up for all the work that lies ahead.
