The candidate should have minimum 2 years marketing experience. You will be a team player, and able to manage several projects at once. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be a self-starter.
Job description
The Marketing Executive will report into the company’s Customer Marketing Managaer and provide support to Customer Marketing Manager and Brand Manager. The varied role includes management of press and awards, event and producer visits, updating sales and marketing tool kits, copywriting and shadow brand management.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Marketing Executive
- Pr and Comms
- Management, circulation and evaluation of press cuttings
- Maintenance of press databases
- Awards – management of awards calendar, entries and communication of results.
- Copywriting and mailing of ad hoc press releases
- Events and producer visits:
- Events support – assistance with the production of event materials: tasting booklets, POS, bespoke price lists, attendance, samples etc
- Producer visits – management and evaluation of itineraries, book travel and accommodation
- Sales and Marketing support
- Management of Point of Sales (POS) stock – ordering from wineries, LCB and dispatch to customers
- Management of bank of assets (sales presenters, imagery, product sheets, bottleshots)
- ad hoc tasks such as tasting booklets, new line forms, production of flyers, ads, posters etc.
- Copywriting
- Presentation materials, company blogs, social media
- Shadow brand management:
- Support on key marketing campaigns:
- Mailout to Press or/and customers (management of database, follow up with sales team, results analysis).
- Management of internal promotional calendar for key off trade brands
- Analysis of marketing activity results (alongside the brand manager)
- Light design on POS and other materials
- Support on key marketing campaigns:
- Corporate social media:
- Manage the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn)
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have
- Some knowledge of wine and the UK wine trade
- Min 2 years marketing experience
- Exceptional organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to multi-task and handle a number of projects simultaneously and ability to work effectively to deadlines
- Project Management skills
- Experience in digital and content marketing is desirable
- Willingness to go the extra mile when required to get the job done
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office. InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat a bonus
- Foreign language is an advantage (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or French)
