Argentina is one of the New World's most important wine producing countries. Much of the country's production centres around the foothills of the Andes, the most renowned region being Mendoza, where desert landscapes and high altitudes combine to make a terroir that gives rise to aromatic, intensely flavoured red wines. Malbec is the Argentina's most famous export, and we find great examples in Francois Lurton's Bodega Negra Alta Collection Malbec. The winery also has the largest plantings of Pinot Gris.
