South Africa

With over 300 years of winemaking history, South Africa is often described as bridging the Old World and New World in terms of wine making. Wine production centres around the Western Cape. We are thrilled to be working with an old, sorry dear friend of ours Jeremy Borg and his Painted Wolf Wines. His range includes superb wines from Paarl, Stellenbosch, Swartland and beyond, and a percentage of profits goes to saving the endangered African Wild Dog. Further east, along the coast, we find Seven Springs in Overberg. Owned by Tim and Vaughan Pearson, the vineyards benefits from the Atlantic influence and shale soils and produce a wonderful range of single varietal wines. 2016 sees the addition of KWV to our portfolio. Along with a long history of winemaking they bring with them a hugely innovative and modern approach to winemaking under the guidance of Johann Fourie - named as one of South Africa's Top 10 winemakers by Tim Atkin.
