It's been quite a week at Painted Wolf!

Winemaker Jeremy Borg has been shortlisted along with 5 others for Diners Club Winemaker of the Year and Painted Wolf Penny Viognier 2014 has won a Gold Medal at The 2015 Veritas competition. The Viognier was the only gold medal winner in the Wooded Viognier category. A number of other wines mostly from highly regarded cellars won silver and bronze medals.

Owner and winemaker Jeremy Borg says "I am especially chuffed to have won gold for the Viognier. It is one of the best wines we have made, and a fitting tribute to Penny Hughes who sadly passed away last year. It was recently selected as the top wine from 162 South African wines which were presented by Wine of South Africa at a tasting in Hong Kong hosted by Eddie McDougall, one of the cities top wine personalities  Penny 2014 was also commended by Decanter magazine earlier this year."

Painted Wolf were also awarded 2 silver medals for Den Chenin Blanc 2015 and Pictus Two Swartland Shiraz 2010  and a further 5 bronze medals for Roussanne 2014,  Peloton Rouge 2012, Peloton Blanc 2014 and Black pack Shiraz 2010
